Creator fees
The default platform fee is 20% of a paid sale. The remaining 80% is the creator's net amount in the sales ledger. Any listing-specific override is reflected in the transaction's gross, fee, and net amounts.
For a 1.00 USDC sale at the default rate: 0.20 USDC platform fee and 0.80 USDC creator net. This is an accounting example, not evidence of a completed payout.
Payment, delivery, and payouts
- Open a listing and review the capability, version, price, payment network, and setup requirements.
- For a paid item, x402 requests a payment authorization. Your wallet shows the amount and recipient before you sign.
- After successful settlement, Clusters records the sale and grants access or starts the paid execution. Keep the receipt and transaction reference.
- Funds settle to the recipient in the payment request. Fee collection and creator payout reconciliation are manual; the ledger does not automatically split funds or send a second wallet payment.
Refunds and disputes
Refund requests are reviewed manually. An approved refund records the decision; a separate transfer is required to return funds. A ledger status alone does not mean your refund has arrived.
